During the last decade at Med College, Juan has led the institution’s innovation and growth, focusing on our student’s success and outcomes. These include founding the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program, the first fully accredited MRI program in the state of Florida; the Computed Tomography (CT) Course, the first formal CT course in South Florida; and the Mammography Course.
Juan has more than 15 years of clinical and educational experience in the area of Diagnostic Medical Imaging. Before Med College, Mr. Revuelta served in the Department of Radiology at Jackson Health System in positions ranging from patient care, education and management.
Ms. Tometra EVERETT
Director of Education
With over 20 years of medical imaging and vocational education expertise, Ms. Meadows comes to Med College not only as a seasoned scholar and competent medical professional but also offers a wealth of real-world experience.
After completing her training in Radiology Technology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL, she quickly transitioned into vocational education. Starting as a vocational instructor and eventually earning a position as a program director, she is well-versed in all aspects of career education, curriculum, and program accreditation and compliance.
Ms. Meadows currently holds the Dean of Academic Affairs position at Med College and instructs introductory health care courses. She has earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Nova Southeastern University.
Mrs. Rosina Revuelta
Director, Business Office.
Throughout her decade career at Med College, Rosina Revuelta has helped pioneer much of the company’s innovation and growth with a focus on student success and outcomes. These include the development of a Business Plan and coordinating all department functions.
In partnership with the head of the school and other members of the school’s leadership team, Mrs. Revuelta oversees all finance matters, including budgeting, contracts, financial aid, expense control, financial reporting, accounting controls, cash management, banking relations, capital budgets, and risk management.
Before Med College, Mrs. Revuelta served as a Regional Sales Representative with Commerce Corporation and as a Sales Representative with Bancolombia, and Regional Supervisor at Colgate Palmolive.
Ms. Karina Cabrera
Director of Admissions and Student Services
Karina Cabrera possesses two decades of extensive experience in higher education and is a visionary leader with a keen sense of strategy and forward-thinking. Karina earned her BS in Psychology and MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Albizu University.
Karina has experience at various private institutions in different student affairs roles and is passionate about supporting students while they pursue their educational goals. She has served in multiple roles throughout her career, including Admission Counselor, Bursar, Academy Advisor, Campus Registrar, and Associate Director of Career Services.
Ms. Cabrera is currently the Director of Admissions and Student Services at Med College. This role best aligns with her passion for supporting and promoting students’ success inside and outside the classroom.
Ms. Cabrera’s philosophy is to empower college students with the necessary tools to succeed in their careers.
Ms. Meyling Wong
Registrar
Actively engaged in the educational field at various levels since 2004, Ms. Meyling Wong joined Med College in 2017. Her primary role is Registrar, but she also supports the academic faculty, admissions team, and financial services departments.
Meyling’s professional goal is to better serve our student population through a continuous process of self-improvement by elevating her knowledge to keep up with the latest educational trends, innovations, and best industry practices. With that goal in mind, she obtained a Master’s in Higher Education with a concentration in Management and Leadership.
She also holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology. Ms. Wong’s mission is to deliver a superior customer service experience to our student body so they can reach their academic goals.
Mrs. Maria Alcuria
Financial Aid Director
With over 30 years of combined experience in education administration and financial aid, Mrs. Maria Alcuria brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Med College. Her role as Financial Aid Director is to assist students through applying for Title IV grants and loans and present other options for educational funding and payment.
Mrs. Alcuria goes above and beyond for our student body. Her goal is to ensure that our students understand their responsibilities regarding financing and repayment of their education funding. She understands that each student who walks through our doors has unique circumstances requiring special attention.
Besides servicing students with their financial aid needs, Mrs. Alcuria works closely with the business office, admissions team, and education department to ensure that students have an exceptional experience from enrollment through graduation.
